Creative Research

The Creative Research podcast series explores how access to creativity impacts adults with acquired disabilities.

The series is based on Erin’s doctoral research studies and focuses on adults with acquired mobility, motor, and/or communication disabilities who use assistive technologies for daily living.

This podcast series is my way of sharing back information about my research to the people who helped me with my research: research participants, their families and friends, and the people who helped me recruit participants.

I intentionally wanted to talk about aspects of my research that I thought you all would find interesting and relevant. In contrast to an academic thesis, which is written for a specific academic audience, this podcast series focuses more on the personal impacts of my research. My guests and I discuss clinical implications and share our personal experiences along with a discussion of my research findings.

I created this podcast with no budget, while writing my dissertation, and is my first-ever attempt at podcasting.

I appreciate all of your support over the past years with my doctoral research and I hope you find some of the content of this podcast series interesting and useful.
