Seeking Individuals Who Like to Brainstorm Ideas and Who Use Assistive Technologies for Mobility and/or Communicaiton

Creative Co-Design Research Study

The purpose of this research is to develop design recommendations that I can share with technology manufacturers and designers who are interested in helping people with disabilities engage in creativity.

There are 3 parts to this research study. Participating in the study will take 1-2 weeks, on a schedule that works best for you.

Part 1: First, we will work together in a 1:1 session online (your choice of Skype or Zoom) where we will talk about your personal interests and the technologies that you use. Then we will brainstorm ideas on how to design something that would allow you to easily engage in creative pursuits. I’ll do some concept design sketching while we talk about design ideas.

Part 2: I’ll send you copies of the design sketches and you can comment on those sketches, create your own design sketches, or add images to the design.

Part 3: We’ll hold another 1:1 online session, where you and I will meet up 1-2 weeks after our first session. We’ll finalize the important features of the design and talk over our final design concepts.
